Lucy is undertaking a PhD at the nexus of visual, material and making anthropology at the University of Western Australia. Along with their anthropology studies Lucy's past lives in theatre production, film-making, gardening, property managing, teaching Buddha Dharma, and as a co-organizer in the anti-nuclear campaign inform their arts practice. They make across many mediums but have a deep love of paper, expanded drawing practices, comics, and books.
Lucy resides on stolen land, Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. The sovereignty of First Nations 'Australia' was never ceded, structures that maintain the colonial project need to be dismantled, and settlers need to pay the rent.
